The Global Prize is an ambitious initiative. A project still at its formative stage. A work in progress. It’s a living concept being shaped through consultations, dialogue, reflection, and collaboration.
Realising our vision and mission is the ultimate goal.
Creating a truly global and inclusive prize award scheme can only be achived through a process that is just as inclusive. The Global Prize will be built through an extensive process of consultation with Afro-descendant communities, leaders, and institutions across Africa and the Diaspora.
Everyone’s voice matters. That includes yours.
Many key decisions are yet to be made — and you can help shape them and make The Global Prize, which is long-overdue, a pride for the Black race. We have a very enthusiastic team waiting to hear from you and to inform you about the current state, about the project’s three planned phases and the various tasks.
